Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker today endorsed Leslie Robnett for the Texas House
District 97. HD 97 covers West Fort Worth and Southwest Tarrant County, including Benbrook,
White Settlement, and most of Crowley.

HD 97 is an open seat in the 2024 election, with incumbent Craig Goldman running for
the US Congress. Robnett recently announced her candidacy in the Republican primary
nomination, which will be held in March.

“I strongly endorse Leslie Robnett. She has extensive experience in the Texas
Legislature. As a former Chief of Staff for then-Rep. Phil King, Leslie already understands how
to get things accomplished in Austin,” said Parker. “Leslie is a talented attorney representing
businesses on complex issues. She is a strong conservative prepared to serve our area with
sound judgment and distinction immediately. Having a candidate this well prepared from day one
is rare.”

“It is an honor to have the support of Mayor Parker,” said Robnett. “With issues like the
flow of immigrants across the open border and fighting back against crime, there are many
challenges facing the Legislature that have a huge impact on our community. I am fully prepared
to secure our border, stand with our law enforcement, and permanently and significantly cut
property taxes for our families.”

Mayor Parker was first elected in 2021 and was reelected this year with 70% of the vote.
She is the 45th Mayor of the City.

Robnett is a sixth-generation Texas business attorney, mother, and rancher. Leslie
believes families are the cornerstone of healthy and thriving Texas communities. She prioritizes
improving the future for Texas job producers, veterans, and our children. Her priorities include
passing lasting property tax cuts, ensuring community safety, and strengthening Texas’ pro-
business environment.

Leslie Robnett and her husband, Kevin Robnett, a U.S. Navy combat veteran, are proud
parents of three children.
